CHICAGO, Dec. 30 (UPI) — A wall of a Chicago building where tons of Morton Salt is stored collapsed Tuesday, dumping salt onto cars at a car dealership next door.

No one was injured in the partial wall collapse, which took place around 2 p.m. local time on the north side of the city.

The salt mounded on top of vehicles parked at the McGrath Acura dealership next door. The six to eight vehicles belong to customers and were at the dealership to be worked on, the Chicago Fire Department said.

Some of the cars received damage in the incident.

Chicago Fire spokesman Larry Langford said the collapse was due to too much salt putting force on the wall or the condition of the wall.
