At 9:30 p.m., the company had the following areas listed on its website:
Hyde Park and Smithfield
Area of outage: Zip codes 84318 and 84335
Estimated time of restoration: 10:30 p.m. MDT
Cause: Wind
Customers affected: Approximately 3,062 customers are without power
Crew: On site and repairs are underway
Riverdale and Roy
Area of outage: Zip codes 84067 and 84405
Estimated time of restoration: Assessing
Cause: Transmission interruption
Customers affected: Approximately 4,675 customers are without power
Crew: Dispatched
Bluffdale and Riverton
Area of outage: Zip code 84065
Estimated time of restoration: Assessing
Cause: Under investigation
Customers affected: Approximately 3,031 customers are without power
Crew: Dispatched
Saratoga Springs
Area of outage: Zip codes 84045 and 84043
Estimated time of restoration: 11 p.m. MDT
Cause: Under investigation
Customers affected: Approximately 753 customers are without power
Crew: Dispatched
Parts of Millcreek, Salt Lake City, South Salt Lake and Midvale also experienced outages, but power was restored to those areas by 8:30 p.m.
