Temperatures in the mid to high 90s, high humidity and light winds, coupled with intense sunshine, will push the feels-like temperatures into the triple digits for locales along the Interstate-95 corridor and the Ohio Valley.

Areas that include New York City and Boston are forecasted to highs well above 90 degrees on Wednesday. Record highs could be possible in Concord, N.H. (95 degrees), Worcester, Mass. (94 degrees), and Allentown, Penn. (96 degrees), the Weather Channel said.

Dangerous heat is also expected in Missouri and Memphis, Tenn., where the heat index could climb to 110. In Texas and Florida, the mercury will reach 100.

The Northwest, including northern California, western Oregon, western Washington and portions of Idaho and Montana, will also see searing temperatures over the next few days. Portland and Pendleton, Ore. and Seattle and Spokane, Wash. were both seeing their hottest Julys on record.
