SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – Juy 28, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – SLCPD said a man entered the Wal-Mart Supercenter at 350 W. Hope Ave. and began to select items, including a hammer, yesterday at 10:37 p.m.
Officers said security confronted the man after he attempted to leave without paying. The man threatened security by swinging the hammer at them. Police officers Tasered the man after he swung the hammer at the officers. Police booked Makuthe Deng, 31, into jail for aggravated robbery.
