Police seek robber who targeted two banks in West Jordan

WEST JORDAN, Utah, Dec. 28, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are asking for help identifying a robber who targeted two banks in West Jordan Tuesday afternoon.

A man entered the U.S. Bank building at 4080 W. 9000 South, according to West Jordan Police Department, and passed a note to the teller asking for money.

The teller complied, and the man left and went to a second U.S. Bank located at 7061 S. Redwood Road.

The man used a note again. Police said he was armed during the second bank robbery, though they did not specify with what weapon.

Police did not say which direction he went in afterward and whether he departed in a vehicle or on foot.
