DEER VALLEY, Utah, March 10, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A 70-year-old man died after hitting a pole while skiing at Deer Valley Resort early Friday afternoon, officials said.
The man, whose name has not been released, fell and collided with a pole while skiing at the resort at approximately 12:30 p.m., according to Deer Valley officials.
The man was skiing on the NASTAR race course.
Emergency crews attempted life-saving measures until a LifeFlight helicopter arrived, but the man was pronounced deceased.
Deer Valley Resort is located at 2250 Deer Valley Drive in Park City.
