Crews respond to multi-vehicle injury accident in Salt Lake City; 7 injured, 3 critically

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, June 7, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Medical and police crews responded to the scene of a three-vehicle collision near the intersection of 1000 North and Redwood Road, in Salt Lake City.

“Multiple patients are being triaged with various injuries,” a tweet from the Salt Lake City Fire Department says.

The accident happened at about 2:30 p.m. Friday, said Salt Lake City Fire Department Chief Adam Archuleta.

“There were seven total patients,” he told Gephardt Daily.

“Three went to local facilities for traumatic injuries,” he said, adding they were transported by ground ambulance and suffered critical injuries.

“Four others were treated for minor injuries, and a couple of those were even released from the scene.”
