TOOELE COUNTY, Utah, Sept. 17, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Fire crews responded to a fire in South Willow Canyon early Tuesday morning, and were still battling the blaze as of 10 a.m.
“We had a fire spark up in South Willow Canyon about 2 a.m. this morning,” a Facebook post from the North Tooele Fire District says.[irp]
“Crews from North Tooele Fire, Grantsville Fire, Tooele Army Depot Fire Tooele County Sheriff’s Deputies and State Lands and Forestry responded quickly and are still on the job.”
One cabin has been destroyed, the post says, but there are no injuries and no evacuations are in place at this time.”
