PARK CITY, Utah, Nov. 3, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A one-time Dallas Cowboys player has been named the primary suspect in the Park City stabbing death of his wife.

The victim is Keri “KC” McClanahan, 28, wife of Anthony Darnel McClanahan, 46.

Keri McClanahan, was found stabbed to death in her bed at the Park Regency Hotel, 1710 Prospector Ave., on Thursday. Most of the wounds were to her neck, according to police reports.

Park City Police officials found the body shortly after someone flagged down a passing patrol car. A call came in from the hotel at the same time.

Anthony McClanahan, of Bellingham, Wash., was charged Friday as a fugitive from justice for the Oct. 12 kidnapping of his son, 8, from the boy’s school in Arizona, where he lives with his mother. McClanahan was arrested by the Unified Police Department.

The warrant arrest fact sheet says McClanahan has an active warrant for kidnapping from Arizona.

McClanahan joined the Dallas Cowboys as a linebacker in 1994, but was quickly cut, according to NewsOK.

The McClanahans were married in January of this year, according to his Facebook page.
