Kaysville police ID women killed, injured in pedestrian-van accident

KAYSVILLE, Utah, Nov. 1, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — The Kaysville Police Department has released the names of two women hit by a van Thursday morning. One died at the scene and the second was flown to an area hospital.

The woman who died was Lori Morgan, from Kaysville. The victim who was injured, and is now in stable condition, is Andrea Snarr, also from Kaysville.

“Upon officers’ arrival, it was found that two pedestrians were struck by vehicles as they attempted to cross Main Street,” the Kaysville Police statement says.

“The drivers of the vehicles involved are cooperating with the Kaysville Police Department as we continue to investigate the accident.”

The accident was reported at about 7:15 a.m., police said earlier. The women appeared to be crossing outside a crosswalk.
