SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, April 21, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — One person was taken to an area hospital in critical condition Sunday night after being hit by a car while riding an e-scooter.
The e-scooter rider was hit near 800 West and North Temple, Salt Lake City police said on social media at 9:27 p.m.
The driver remained at the scene of the accident, police said.
Road closures in the area are expected while police investigate the crash.
