WASHINGTON, D.C., Sept. 25, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — The White House Wednesday released a rough transcript of Donald Trump’s phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky.

The document, dated July 25, 2019, reveals Trump repeatedly urged Zelensky to launch an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden, and his son, Hunter.

It also reveals that Trump asked the Ukrainian leader to work with his personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, and with U.S. Attorney General William Barr.

While the transcript does not show an overt quid pro quo offer, Trump did tell Zelensky the US has been “very, very good” to Ukraine before saying “I would like you to do us a favor …. ”
