WEST BOUNTIFUL, Utah, May 16, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — The West Bountiful Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying three suspects after the armed robbery of a 7-Eleven on Thursday.

At about 3 a.m., three suspects entered the convenience store, at 1109 W. 500 South, and two jumped over the counter and began taking vapor products, appearing to focus on the Juul brand pods.

“A third suspect pointed a black handgun at the clerk and demanded money from the cash register,” the West Bountiful Police statement says.

The suspects then left, on foot, taking a bag filled with products and all the cash from the register.

Police have no information on any vehicle associated with the suspects.

One suspect appears to have a leg injury, and was standing on his right leg while holding his left leg in the air. He hopped when leaving the store, the statement says.

One suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, age 17 to 20, slender and about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black or dark blue hoodie, black pants and shoes, and a black ski-style mask. He appeared to either have bracelets or tattoos on each wrist.

The second suspect was described as having the same age range and physical build. He was wearing a gray hoodie with the word “Colorado” and a design with mountains and a sun with rays. He wore tight blue pants, black dress shoes, white socks, and a black ski mask with a gray ball on top.

The third suspect was identified as black by the clerk, and has a light skin tone, visible in the surveillance video, which can be viewed by clicking the links below.

Suspect three is in the same age range, and about 5-feet 5-inches tall, with an average build. He was wearing a green camouflage hooded jacket and a black T-shirt and black facial covering.

He wore red track-style shirt, and pants with a white stripe down the leg. He also had a white-soled shoe on his right foot and no shoe on the left, but did have a black sock with a white emblem on top. He was seen carrying a metal crutch after leaving the store.

Used at the scene was a blue and black drawstring bag with the words “BD South Titans” on the front and a light blue camouflage or tie-dye backpack.

Anyone with information on the suspects or crime is asked to call the West Bountiful Police Department, 801-292-4487 or dispatch at 801-298-6000.
