WASATCH COUNTY, Utah, Sept. 15, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — The Deer Creek Fire grew little overnight, and is now 75% contained, Wasatch County officials say.

“Fire crews are out working the fire line this morning,” a post from the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office says.

“We walked the line this morning and are updating the acreage to 57 acres. The fire is 75% contained. The crews are working on mopping up the fire line to make sure there is not any heat on the outside edge of the fire.”

As of Saturday night, the fire was estimated at 50 acres, so the growth was slight.

Officials have said the fire was human caused.
