DRAPER, Utah, March 9, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A woman involved in a two-vehicle accident was flown to University Hospital after a head-on collision Saturday afternoon, and her baby was flown to Primary Children’s Hospital.

The woman, believed to be in her 30s, was driving down Traverse Ridge Road at 3:30 p.m, and was at about 1752 East when she crossed the center line and veered into oncoming traffic, Sgt. Todd Crane, Draper Police Department, told Gephardt Daily from the scene.

Crane described the woman’s condition as delta-minus, meaning her condition was grave.

The driver of the car she collided with was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Crane said the woman’s child, believed to be about a year old, appeared to be in alpha (very good) condition, and was taken to Primary Children’s Hospital to be checked out only as a precaution.

Gephardt Daily will have more on this story as information becomes available.
