‘It’ kills at the North American box office with $117.2M in receipts

Sept. 10 (UPI) — The killer clown movie “It” is the No. 1 movie in North America, earning $117.2 million in receipts, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 is “Home Again” with $9 million, followed by “The Hitman’s Bodyguard” at No. 3 with $4.9 million, “Annabelle: Creation” at No. 4 with $4 million and “Wind River” at No. 5 with $3.2 million.

Rounding out the top tier are “Leap!” at No. 6 with $2.5 million, “Spider-Man: Homecoming” at No. 7 with $2 million, “Dunkirk” at No. 8 with $1.95 million, “Logan Lucky” at No. 9 with $1.8 million and “The Emoji” Movie at No. 10 with $1 million.
