For those that are seeking an original way to spend their money, you may want to consider taking a look at Grantville, Georgia just for the ‘thriller’ of it.

Nine buildings in Grantville, 35 miles outside of Atlanta, are now listed for sale and if you’ve got $680,000 you’re eager to spend,  you could be the new owner of a town featured on “The Walking Dead” and a number of movies.

The historic area has been a set for several recent movies including “Lawless” with Shia LaBeouf and Jessica Chastain, “The War” with Kevin Costner and Elijah Wood and “Dumb and Dumber To” with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, and is being considered for four new movies, including the “The Ring 3” and “83 Days” with big name stars Tom Cruise, Bryan Cranston and Danny Glover.

The buildings are located in a town that died down after the textile mills closed during the recession. Per the listing on eBay, the downtown area has several tenants occupying 45 percent of the area for sale and is approximately 34,000 Square feet of usable space.

This includes nine buildings which include: retail areas, loft apartments, pizza restaurant, bar or pub, restaurant, pharmacy, office space and other combinations. And just recently added two additional historic buildings in the downtown area to the live auction as of today for a total of 90 percent of the entire downtown area of Grantville.

So far 1,916 eBay users had the listing on their watch list but no one has made any offers. The vacant commercial lot is currently on auction for the starting price of $680,000
