20th Century Fox Releases “Fantastic Four” Trailer
Hollywood — July 15, 2015 — (Gephardt Daily) –20th Century Fox, which debuted at San Diego Comic-Con, has now officially released the newest trailer for “Fantastic Four.”
After its debut at the San Diego Comic-Con, the trailer for “Fantastic Four” has been officially released, showing the team in action.
For many fans, the trailer also highlights the character of “Dr. Doom,” played by Toby Kebbell, as well as the team working together.
The film centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
The new trailer not only establishes Reed Richards (Miles Teller) has always been a scientist more interested in discovery than safety, but the U.S. military has its own reasons for wanting to bankroll his experiments and supporting what those experiments bring about.
This new version of “Fantastic Four” is a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel Comics’ original and longest-running superhero team.
In 2005 Fox released “Fantastic Four” starring Jessica Alba and Ioan Gruffudd. In 2007 the sequel “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer” was released.
With the escalation of “The Avengers,” and other superhero films, Marvel and Fox needed to revisit “Fantastic Four,” as a valuable part of the Marvel universe.
The film hits theaters Aug. 7.
