LONDON, Sept. 1 (UPI) — Three months after his birth, Benedict Cumberbatch‘s newborn son’s name has been revealed.
According to People, the Sherlock actor and his wife, Sophie Hunter, named their son Christopher Carlton Cumberbatch.
The triple ‘C’ designation had been under-wraps for three months since baby Christopher’s birth over the summer. According to sources, Carlton is a family name passed down from the baby’s paternal line.
Before news broke of the newborn’s name, fans simply referred to him as “Cumberbaby.”
New parents Hunter and Cumberbatch married in February after dating for roughly six years. They announced their engagement through a traditional post in the Times of London.
