LOS ANGELES, Oct. 17 (UPI) — Alec Baldwin stars as a business-savvy talking baby in the first trailer for the upcoming Dreamworks animated comedy, “The Boss Baby.”

The clip, released Monday, features 7-year-old Time as his world is turned upside down after his parents bring home a new baby boy who immediately gains all the attention in the household.

Suspiciously, this new baby wears a suit and tie and carries around a briefcase which drives Tim to investigate further. Much to his surprise, the infant can not only walk and talk but is also a successful businessman.

“The Boss Baby” is a hilariously universal story about how a new baby’s arrival impacts a family, told from the point of view of a delightfully unreliable narrator, a wildly imaginative 7 year old named Tim,” reads the film’s synopsis.

“With a sly, heart-filled message about the importance of family, DreamWorks “The Boss Baby” is an authentic and broadly appealing original comedy for all ages,” it continues.

Directed by Tom McGrath (Madagascar), “The Boss Baby” is set to arrive in theaters March 31, 2017.
