‘All My Children,’ ‘One Life to Live’ creator Agnes Nixon dead at 88

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 28 (UPI) — “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” creator Agnes Nixon died Wednesday morning at the age of 88.

TVLine and Philly.com were among the media outlets that reported the news.

Nixon’s other writing and producing credits include “As the World Turns,” “Search for Tomorrow,” “Another World,” “Guiding Light,” “Loving” and “The City.” She won several Daytime Emmy Awards for her work on soap operas.

“We are very sad to hear of the passing of Agnes Nixon — a true giant in our industry. #allmychildren #onelifetolive RIP,” the Daytime Emmys Facebook page said.
