LOS ANGELES, Aug. 12 (UPI) — Amber Heard was due to give a deposition againstĀ Johnny Depp in Los Angeles on Friday but delayed it because of an “emergency.”

Heard’s deposition was originally scheduled for June 17, but was postponed. Depp’s lawyers have said the actor would only give his deposition after Heard gave hers.

Court documents state “to no fault of her own, Amber was unable to arrange for a flight to travel from London,” which caused Friday’s delay. Heard is in England filming “Justice League.”

The L.A. Superior Court has rescheduled the deposition for Saturday.

In her suit, Heard alleges Depp was physically abusive to her and is seeking a permanent restraining order.

Heard, 30, filed for divorce from the 53-year-old actor in May, after just over a year of marriage.
