GRAVETTE, Ark., Sept. 7 (UPI) — Aspiring country singer Amy Duggar has married Dillon King at Horton Farms in Gravette, Ark.

The couple began dating in November and announced their engagement in July, Us Weekly said.

Their country-chic wedding, which had a rose-gold and candlelight color scheme, took place Sunday evening in front of about 400 friends and family members, including most of the former stars of the reality TV show 19 Kids and Counting. “This is such a positive moment in our lives,” Duggar told People magazine about the ceremony.

Duggar’s family has been in the news for months due to her cousin Josh’s admission that he molested young, female relatives, including his sisters, when he was a teenager.

Although he was never charged with any crime, his family’s TLC docu-series was canceled over the scandal and because his devoutly Christian parents Jim Bob and Michelle were perceived to have covered up the matter. Josh also later admitted to repeatedly cheating on his wife Anna and he is now undergoing treatment in a faith-based rehab.

“I can’t wait to change my name,” Amy Duggar said to People earlier in the week. “It’s going to be a great day when Dillon signs that marriage license and my last name changes.”

Among the guests were Amy’s cousins Jessa and Jill, who remain social-media sensations despite the cancellation of their TV series, as well as Jim Bob, Michelle and Anna.
