NEW YORK, Aug. 24 (UPI) — Amy Schumer told Howard Stern that the Hollywood party scene is her “worst nightmare.”

Stern mentioned he recently read in Schumer’s new book, “The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo,” that she refers to herself as an introvert.

“Are you not sort of taking advantage of Hollywood parties?” Stern asked her.

“Ew, no!” Schumer replied. “That’s my worst nightmare. It’s so fake. It’s people doing an impression of having a conversation. You have to wear things that are uncomfortable.”

Stern brought up the Met Gala, which Schumer attended.

“I left earlier than I should have been allowed,” she laughed.

“It’s exciting,” she conceded. “I got to meet Beyonce and she was like, ‘Is this your first Met?’ and I was like, ‘It’s my last.’ It felt like a punishment. It’s not me and I don’t like it,” she said.

Schumer also talked to Stern about how she’s not out to fill her Hollywood contact list.

“I’m not trying to make lots of celebrity friends,” she said. “You gotta keep it real. The people you care about, you have to keep it real with them.”
