Live Action “Dumbo” Coming To Town
Tim Burton is teaming up with Disney again, this time to direct a live-action version of “Dumbo.”

Burton previously directed “Alice In Wonderland,” the kickoff movie for Disney’s current wave of remakes of its animated classics.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney has called on the “Batman” and “Edward Scissorhands” director to take on the tale of a baby circus elephant who is made fun for his large ears, based on the 1941 iconic film.
“Transformers” franchise writer Ehren Kruger penned the script. The film will be a mix of CG and live-action to bring the classic elephant story to life, and will add a unique family story that parallels Dumbo’s journey.
