March 17 (UPI) — Bill Murray was seen courtside supporting his son, assistant coach Luke Murray of Xavier University’s basketball team as they took on the Maryland Terrapins in the first round of the NCAA March Madness tournament.

The actor, looking casual in a button-down shirt, jeans and a baseball hat, pumped his fist and cheered throughout the game as the No. 11 seed Xavier, defeated the sixth-seeded Maryland on Thursday 76-65.

“Bill Murray smells an upset,” Sports Illustrated’s Extra Mustard Twitter account noted along with a video of Bill clapping enthusiastically during the game.

“When Bill Murray is happy, it’s a beautiful thing. It doesn’t even matter what he’s happy about. [the basketball team his son coaches won],” fan Mike Gibbs shared on Twitter alongside a photo he snapped of Bill smiling with his hand raised in the air.
