The 24-year-old actress posted an adorable throwback photo with Fisher nearly two months after the “Star Wars” icon’s death.
The picture shows a young Lourd sitting on Fisher’s lap as they peer out of a limousine. The actress captioned the snapshot with an angel emoji.
Fisher died at age 60 on Dec. 27, and her mom, actress Debbie Reynolds, died at age 84 the next day. Death certificates later confirmed the stars died of a heart attack and a stroke, respectively, although Fisher’s death remains under investigation.
Lourd thanked fans for their support in January, saying they have given her “strength during a time [she] thought strength could not exist.” She gave a shoutout to rumored boyfriend Taylor Lautner and her friends the same month.
“This group of onesie clad supremely supportive humans (and many others #notpicturedbutinthepicture) are the kings and queens of my world #gratefulfortheirgreatness #friendsfindingthefunny,” she wrote Jan. 24.
Lourd is known for playing Sadie Swenson, aka Chanel #3, on the Fox series “Scream Queens.” Her co-star Glen Powell said in an interview Jan. 28 with Entertainment Tonight that the actress is coping well with the loss of her mom and grandmother.
“If there’s anybody that can take something so tragic in their life happening, it’s Billie,” the actor said. “She’s a person who was raised by two very strong women, and she’s a very strong woman.”
“I think she’s digesting it well. She’s very emotionally intelligent, and I think she’s got a great group of friends around her that are supporting her, and I hope I am one of them,” he added.
