‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ tops the North American box office with $50M

Nov. 5 (UPI) — The Freddie Mercury biopic, “Bohemian Rhapsody,” is the No. 1 movie in North America, earning $50 million in receipts this weekend, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 is “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” with $20 million, followed by “Nobody’s Fool” at No. 3 with $14 million, “A Star is Born” at No. 4 with $11.1 million and “Halloween” at No. 5 with $11 million.

Rounding out the top tier are “Venom” at No. 6 with $7.9 million, “Smallfoot” at No. 7 with $3.8 million, “Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween” with $3.7 million at No. 8, “Hunter Killer” at No. 9 with $3.5 million and “The Hate U Give” at No. 10 at $3.4 million.
