LOS ANGELES, March 22 (UPI) — Britney Spears is under fire for possibly Photoshopping a new bikini photo.

Fans accused the 34-year-old singer of using Photoshop to alter her waist after Spears posted a picture in a teeny yellow bikini Sunday on Instagram.

Detractors claim there should be concrete underneath the small of Spears’ back in the photo. Instead, there is a blue material, which supporters say is the singer’s pool towel.

“@britneyspears That skinny part of your back is so photoshopped, whoever did it forgot to put the path in,” one social media user wrote, with another adding, “Photoshop at its worst. You have a great body Britney, you don’t need that.”

Spears looked equally fit in an orange version of the swimsuit in a video post March 4. The singer has yet to address the controversy, but recently told V magazine she’s developed a thick skin after her many years in the entertainment industry.

“Whoever is in the spotlight, people are really quick to judge,” she said. “I mean, there are a lot of kids coming up who’ve experienced that. You know, Justin Bieber, he’s huge, and he experiences that.”

“It’s just the way the world works, unfortunately,” she added. “I’ve been doing this for 20 years. I kind of don’t pay attention to it. I have my relationship with God and myself and that’s what matters to me. I really don’t care what most people think.”

Spears last released Britney Jean in 2013, which peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. She is in residence at The Axis at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas and will perform at the venue through 2017.
