Nov. 28 (UPI) — Jeremy Piven announced via Twitter on Monday that CBS canceled his crowdsourcing crime drama “Wisdom of the Crowd.”
“Wanted to thanks all of you guys for supporting us at #WisdomoftheCrowd sorry we don’t get to continue with this great family we have created. Proud of the work we did and we will Finish out our 13 episodes with full hearts!” the Emmy-winning actor tweeted.
The Hollywood Reporter said the cancellation comes after the freshman show had low ratings and its lead actor made headlines for allegedly sexually harassing and abusing several women in recent years.
Also known for his roles on Entourage and Mr. Selfridge, Piven denied any wrongdoing in reply to the allegations made against him.
