BYRON BAY, Australia, Nov. 7 (UPI) — Chris Hemsworth spent some quality time with his family over the weekend.
The 33-year-old Australian actor’s wife, Elsa Pataky, shared a picture of Hemsworth snuggling one of their 2-year-old twin sons Saturday on Instagram.
“LOVE! @chrishemsworth,” she captioned the photo of Hemsworth and their son on a playground.
Hemsworth and Pataky, a 40-year-old Spanish actress known for “Fast Five” and its sequels, married in 2010 after less than a year of dating. The couple are parents to 4-year-old daughter India and 2-year-old twin sons Tristan and Sasha.
“I think it is the best thing I did in my life,” Pataky told the Herald Sun in October of her family’s 2014 move to Byron Bay, Australia. “For me it’s a dream living in nature, especially with kids. I want that environment for them.”
“We are trying to be normal people … [with] no photographers and people following you,” she explained. “We live on a property in the mountains in the middle of nowhere, so we don’t have that problem any more, and that’s what we wanted.”
Hemsworth and Pataky had shut down reports of marriage trouble prior to the interview by sharing loved-up pictures together on social media. The actress had nothing but praise for Hemsworth in the article.
“The thing I love most about him is what an amazing dad he is and how much he loves playing with them. It’s a great time for just him and the kids, he loves that time, too,” she said.
Hemsworth will next star in “Thor: Ragnarok” with Tom Hiddleston and Benedict Cumberbatch. Pataky is slated for “Fast 8” with Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson.
