June 5 (UPI) — Chrissy Teigen will not be heard as planned in a guest voiceover role in Season 2 of Mindy Kaling’s coming-of-age comedy, “Never Have I Ever.”

“Chrissy Teigen has decided to step away from a guest voiceover role in one episode of the upcoming second season of ‘Never Have I Ever,'” a representative for the Netflix show said in a statement Friday. “The role is expected to be recast.”

The show is about an Indian American high school student who recently lost her father.

Teigen, who is one of the stars of “Lip Sync Battle,” apologized last month for bullying her fellow model and TV personality Courtney Stodden on social media a decade ago.

“I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be. I was an insecure, attention seeking troll,” Teigen told Stodden in an online message.

Teigen, 35, has been married to singer-songwriter John Legend, 42, since 2013. They have two young children.
