HOLLYWOOD, Calif. Jan. 12, 2106 (Gephardt Daily) — On Monday night’s episode of “Conan,” host Conan O’Brien eulogized singer David Bowie by paying tribute to him with a montage showing off the musician’s comedy side.

Bowie died on Jan. 11, following a long battle with cancer.

“Obviously this is a very sad day. Everyone found out that David Bowie passed away yesterday. Incredibly sad news,” O’Brien told the audience.

“He was on our show several times over the years and the man was always outstanding. People are remembering today what a phenomenal musician David Bowie was and of course that was the case. He was mind-blowing talented, but in my experience, he was always an incredibly nice person, he was fun, he was always funny.”
