LOS ANGELES, Jan. 6 (UPI) — Actor and comedian David Spade suffered minor bumps and bruises in a car crash this week in front of the Beverly Hills Hotel.
TMZ said Spade’s Range Rover was totaled in the incident, but the “Saturday Night Live” alum was not seriously injured.
Spade was reportedly heading to dinner Wednesday evening when he made a left turn at a busy intersection and his luxury SUV was hit by another car because the driver apparently sped up to beat a yellow light.
The collision caused Spade to veer into a third vehicle.
Law enforcement sources told the celebrity news website only minor injuries were reported from the scene and fault for the collision has not yet been determined. Neither alcohol nor drugs are believed to have been a factor.
Us Weekly cited an unnamed source as saying, “David was released from the hospital with a few aches and pains and bruises, but seems fine and is resting at home now.”
