SANTA MONICA, Calif., Aug. 15, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Customers at a Santa Monica Denny’s got a tremendous and rare surprise as Hollywood legend Dick Van Dyke broke into song during the post-breakfast rush.
The 90-year-old performer, accompanied by his acapella group The Vantastix, broke into an impromptu performance of “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.”
Van Dyke is best known for his roles in “Mary Poppins,” “Bye-Bye Birdie” and on TV in “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” and “Diagnosis Murder.”
