NEW YORK, June 7 (UPI) — Elizabeth Olsen walked the red carpet with sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen on Monday.
The 27-year-old actress joined the 29-year-old twin designers at the 2016 CFDA Fashion Awards, where Mary-Kate and Ashley were nominated for Womenswear Designer of the Year and Accessories Designer of the Year for The Row.
The siblings chose all-black outfits for their rare public appearance as a trio. Elizabeth wore her hair in a high half-ponytail that cascaded over her shoulders, while Mary-Kate and Ashley opted for their signature tousled waves.
Mary-Kate and Ashley didn’t walk away with any awards, but previously won Womenswear Designer of the Year in 2012 and 2015. The pair established The Row in 2006 and opened a first New York store in May that is dedicated to an in-person experience.
“People like shopping online because they’ve made it so easy,” Mary-Kate told the New York Times. “[Dealing with people] can be unpleasant. If you are going to deal with people, you have to make it a pleasant experience.”
Mary-Kate and Ashley also oversee Elizabeth and James, which they named after Elizabeth and their brother, James “Trent” Olsen. Elizabeth previously told “Good Morning America” her sisters have “the best taste” out of anyone she knows.
