LOS ANGELES, April 21 (UPI) — Emilia Clarke has stated that she won’t be returning to star in any future “Terminator” films following her starring role in 2015’s “Terminator Genisys.”

“No,” the actress said to ComingSoon Wednesday about potentially reprising her role as a young Sarah Connor in any future installments.

“Can I say that? It’s okay. No. Uh-uh. But I have some very different roles coming up,” she continued.

Clarke starred alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger as the iconic Terminator and Jai Courtney in “Genisys” which was able to earn $440 million worldwide at the box office. Following its release, creative officer Dana Goldberg stated that the franchise would be “readjusting” for future sequels.

In June, Clarke will be seen in the romantic drama ‘Me Before You,’ an adaptation of the Jojo Moyes novel of the same name with actor Sam Claflin.”I read the book and it was just the most beautiful thing I had ever read,” Clarke said to ComingSoon about the upcoming film.

“I was shooting ‘Terminator’ at the time and had a rocket launcher in my hand while crying like a little girl. I felt like the author, Jojo Moyes, had found a part of me and just wrote it down. I knew that I just had to play the role,” she continued.

The latest trailer for ‘Me Before You’ features Clarke as Louisa, Will’s (Claflin) spunky new caregiver who is described as “chatty.” Before long, the wheelchair-bound Will begins to fall for Louisa as his health begins to decline. “I don’t want you to miss out on the things that someone else can give you,” Will says before romantically stating that Louisa is “pretty much the only thing that makes me want to get up in the morning.”
