We chatted with Daniel Logan, an actor who played the young incarnation of Boba Fett in “Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones” and “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.”

“I feel like I’m a talkative person,” he said. “That’s the thing with me, you can stand in my line for five minutes or 20 minutes while I sit and talk to everybody for two to five minutes, which people need and they want. I see it as a chance to meet people too, they get to know me and I get to know them.”

For his role in “Attack of the Clones,” director George Lucas allowed Logan to give his own interpretation of the character, and one of the ways he prepared was by reading “Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary.” He was nominated for the 2003 Young Actor Award for “Best Performance in a Feature Film – Supporting Young Actor”. One of his co-stars, Temuera Morrison, was also one of his fellow cast members on the New Zealand TV series “Shortland Street.” Additionally, Logan played a younger version of Bodie Taylor’s character in the 2003 film “The Legend of Johnny Lingo.” Logan reprised his role as Boba Fett in several episodes of “The Clone Wars.” He is expected to play a part in the upcoming “Star Wars” live-action TV series.

He appears in the “Star Wars” documentaries: “Bucket Head,” “From Puppets to Pixels” and “Heart of an Empire.” He has a blog at StarWars.com, and has appeared at multiple Star Wars conventions and reported from Star Wars events.
