Grace VanderWaal wins Season 11 of ‘America’s Got Talent’

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., Sept. 15 (UPI) — Singer, songwriter and musician Grace VanderWaal was crowned the winner of the 11th season of “America’s Got Talent” in Hollywood Wednesday night.

The 12-year-old entertainer beat out her fellow finalists Laura Bretan, The Clairvoyants, Brian Justin Crum, Jon Dorenbos, Sofie Dossi, Viktor Kee, Linkin’ Bridge, Tape Face and Sal Valentinetti for the honor. This season’s judges were Simon Cowell, Mel B, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum.

The Season 11 finale included performances by the 10 finalists, along with Paula Abdul, Il Volo, Jersey Boys, Stevie Nicks and The Silhouettes.

VanderWaal will headline concerts inside the PH Showroom at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas Oct. 27-29. She will be joined at the shows by The Clairvoyants and Tape Face.
