EDINBURGH, Scotland, Dec. 23 (UPI) — “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling revealed on social media that she is hard at work on two new novels.
Rowling outed the new projects while answering a fan’s question on Twitter about whether or not there are new books on the horizon.
“I’m working on it (literally),” Rowling tweeted before noting to another fan, “I’m always working on a novel. It’s my thing.”
Twitter users then started to speculate whether this meant new “Harry Potter” books were on the way, with one fan asking if it would be a novel based on “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” protagonist Newt Scamander.

“No, no, no. There won’t be Newt Scamander novels. Only movies. Calm down, there!” she wrote.

In a separate tweet, Rowling then revealed that one novel will be released under her name while another will feature her pen name, Robert Galbraith. “I’m not sure which will come out first. I’ll let you know as soon as I do!” the 51-year-old stated.

According to Time, the Galbraith novel will presumably be the fourth entry in her Cormoran Strike series following the 2015 release of “Career of Evil.”
