NASHVILLE, Aug. 11 (UPI) — Jana Kramer and husband Mike Caussin are expecting their first child.
The 31-year-old actress and 28-year-old NFL free agent revealed the news to People on Monday, saying, “We are beyond thrilled to be entering the path of parenthood together. Words can not describe how happy and blessed we feel to become parents.”
“Being a mom will be the greatest job I’ll ever have,” Kramer told the magazine. “I feel like the luckiest girl alive to be on this journey with the love of my life.”
“I am so incredibly excited about becoming a father,” Caussin added. “For me it’s just another dream come true and I cannot imagine tackling parenthood with anyone else but Jana.”
The couple have been together since August 2014, and married in May. The actresstook to Twitter after the announcement, writing, “Thanks for all the love! @MCAUSSIN80 & I are SO excited! Now my question for all the moms…when did your morning sickness go away? #help!”
Kramer was previously wed to Michael Gambino in 2004 and Johnathon Scaech from 2010 to 2011. The actress is best known for portraying Alex Dupre on The CW seriesOne Tree Hill, and has since pursued a country music career.
