LOS ANGELES, Feb. 26 (UPI) — Jennifer Lawrence is the highest-paid Oscar nominee at the 2016 Academy Awards, according to Forbes.

The magazine reports the 25-year-old actress, who is nominated for Best Actress for her role as Joy Mangano in Joy, earned $52 million pretax between June 2014 and 2015.

Lawrence earned paychecks for playing Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games movies and reportedly received upfront compensation for Joy. She also holds a lucrative contract with Dior.

The star’s earnings also made her the Forbes highest-paid actress of 2015. Avengers star Scarlett Johansson came in second with $35.5 million, followed by Melissa McCarthy with $23 million, Bingbing Fan with $21 million and Jennifer Aniston with $16.5 million.

Lawrence is up for Best Actress against Cate Blanchett in Carol, Saoirse Ronan in Brooklyn, Brie Larson in Room and Charlotte Rampling in 45 Years. The 88th Academy Awards will air Sunday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. ET on ABC.

“It’s not even about a woman and her mop,” Lawrence said of Mangano, the creator of the Miracle Mop, to Time magazine in December. “It’s about a woman and her dreams, and all the blood, sweat and tears and the joy but also the ugliness that goes into success.”

Lawrence won an Oscar for Best Actress in 2012 for Silver Linings Playbook, and was nominated in the same category for Winter’s Bone in 2010. She will next star in X-Men: Apocalypse, and is also slated for Passengers with Chris Pratt.
