Jillian Michaels Says Nose Job at 16 Changed Her Life
LOS ANGELES, May 21 (UPI) — Jillian Michaels supports plastic surgery in moderation.
The 41-year-old personal trainer said as much in an interview for the new Bodies Issue of People. Michaels had a good experience with her own procedure, but warned against “the dangerous territory” of plastic surgery addiction.
“I had my nose done when I was 16 years old, and I’ll be honest, it did change my life,” she confessed. “Not to say you should let your physicality define you, but there are some things that can make people feel really insecure. So, if there is something you want to fix that allows you to feel a little bit more confident, I support it. I think it’s about [doing it for] the right reasons.”
Michaels is best known for her involvement with NBC reality competition “The Biggest Loser.” She served as a personal trainer on the series for 12 seasons, but quit the program last year over fundamental differences with the show. She is currently on motivational speaking tour “Maximize Your Life,” and recently recorded the show live to air on Vimeo.
