LOS ANGELES, Aug. 19 (UPI) — Bachelorette Season 12 winner Jordan Rodgers is facing fresh accusations of cheating.
Brittany Farrar, who dated the 27-year-old former NFL player for more than three years, said in a scathing Instagram post Thursday that Rodgers was unfaithful during their relationship.
“After our breakup, I was surprised to find out what a prolific liar and cheater #JordanRodgers was during our entire 3 1/2 year relationship. But what has surprised me even more is how he has carelessly bashed and lied about me in public,” she wrote.
“His lies reached our hometown and my family and friends are now constantly approached by mutual acquaintances … So if I don’t have a choice in whether people back home are talking about me, then I might as well have my voice in this,” she said.
Farrar followed up with a receipt for flowers from June 2014 that she said Rodgers sent to a woman he met while filming Pitch Perfect 2. The gift message reads, “Happy birthday to my favorite Bella. Miss you can’t wait to see that beautiful smile again.”
“Jordan, you dragged our relationship into the spotlight, and then challenged my honesty and character,” Farrar wrote in the caption. “If you weren’t ready to be truthful about your life then you shouldn’t have gone on a reality show.”
Farrar had initially accused Rodgers of cheating the same day as The Bachelorette Season 12 premiere. Rodgers claimed on the show that he and Farrar split due to his focus on football and later called her accusations of infidelity “really harsh and very untrue.”
Farrar is a close friend of actress Olivia Munn, who is dating Rodger’s brother, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Jordan Rodgers, who is engaged to The Bachelorette Season 12 star JoJo Fletcher, did not immediately respond to the new allegations.
