HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA – November 9, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — The contents of Bindi Irwin’s “Dancing With the Stars” Season 21 contract have been revealed.

The 17 year-old will take home nearly $230,000 from Season 21 of “DWTS” with one tiny ‘glitch’—Bindi must supply proof her dad, ‘Crocodile Hunter’ Steve Irwin, is actually dead.

According to TMZ, Bindi is a minor and has to get her “Dancing with the Stars” contract signed off by an L.A. superior court judge. Terri Irwin, Bindi’s mom, has already approved the required form releasing all rights to her daughter’s money.

But the judge wants to see the same form from Bindi’s dad, Steve Irwin who died in 2006 filming a segment of his TV show.

Because of this action by the judge, Bindi’s contract is now public record and breaks down to these points:

Bindi gets a baseline guarantee of $125k just for doing the show. Then her pay per show goes up each week beginning week 3.

For weeks 3 and 4 Bindi received $10k each week. In week 5 Irwin was paid $15k,
During week 6 and 7 the paycheck for Irwin is $20k per week and for week 8 and 9 it grows to $30k per week. During weeks 10 and 11 (anyone who makes it that far) will bring home $50k per week.

That means Bindi is currently at $230k and could make up to $360k if she makes it to the finals.

“Dancing With the Stars” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
