LONDON, Sept. 11 (UPI) — Rock legend Keith Richards admitted to wanting his daughters to snort his ashes when he dies.

The 71-year-old rock star, who is gearing up for the release of his new solo album and Netflix documentary, told the Mirror Thursday that he personally will “give them a straw,” to snort while discussing his past confession to doing the same with his late father’s remains.

“The strangest thing I’ve ever tried to snort? My father. I snorted my father,” The Rolling Stones guitarist said in 2007. “He was cremated and I couldn’t resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow.”

“My dad wouldn’t have cared, he didn’t give a shit. It went down pretty well, and I’m still alive.”

How his daughters with 59-year-old wife Patti Hansen – Theodora, 30, and Alexandra, 28, feel about the odd ritual is unknown.

The self professed former heroin and cocaine user went clean in 2006 and now the rock icon is working on his first new solo album in 23 years entitled Crosseyed Heart.

An accompanying Netflix documentary Under the Influence releases the same day as the album showcases the life and times of the rocker, going back to his original jazz and blue roots and as he works on the new solo project.

Both Under the Influence and Crosseyed Heart will be released Sept. 18.
