New York – September 22, 2015 — (UPI) — Reality star Kendall Jenner has confirmed she has a nipple piercing.
The 19-year-old television personality and model admitted as much to Page Six after the outline of the accessory was visible through her dress at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party last Wednesday.
“It is true,” she said at Estée Lauder’s Modern Muse Le Rouge fragrance launch Friday. “I was going through a period in my life, having a rough time, being a rebel and was like, ‘Let’s just do it.'”
“[I was] so terrified,” she admitted. “I’m laying on the bed like, ‘Why am I doing this?’ Honestly, it hurt, but it wasn’t as bad as everyone made it seem, and maybe because everyone hyped it up I thought it would be really, really bad. Then it wasn’t bad as I expected.”
Jenner walked the runway for several designers this month at New York Fashion Week, and returned on E! series Keeping Up with the Kardashians on Sunday. The teenager’s father, Caitlyn Jenner, who came out as a transgender woman this year, wrapped her first season of I Am Cait the previous week.
“My dad says it herself sometimes, it’s kind of like mourning the loss of someone, because it is,” Jenner told WWD at the Estée Lauder event. “My dad is my dad, but he’s not there physically anymore. But she lets me call her dad — that’s the last little piece of dad I’ve got.”
