Kim Richards Faces Multiple Charges For Public Intoxication Incident
LOS ANGELES, May 14 (UPI) — Kim Richards faces multiple charges following her arrest for public intoxication back in April.
Although The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star checked herself into a Mailbu rehab, shortly after the incident, it didn’t help her case with the Los Angeles County District Attorney office. TMZ reports that Richards has been charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest and battery on a cop.
Officers responded to a report at the Beverly Hills Hotel, that involved a drunk Richards refusing to get out of the bathroom.
In a statement released from the Beverly Hills Police Department, obtained by People, the actress “was displaying symptoms of alcohol intoxication including slurred speech and belligerent insolent behavior cursing at the officers and passively resisted arrest.”
She could be sentenced to two and a half years in jail for the charges.
