LOS ANGELES, Dec. 21 (UPI) — Former “Law & Order: SVU” costars Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay reunited Tuesday for a special selfie.

“Friends at Xmas,” Meloni captioned the photo posted onto Instagram that features the actor holding his former crimefighting partner close as they both smile.

Hargitay reposted the same image with a collection of hashtags including “#ChrisMas #ChrisKringle #AVeryBenslerChristmas #TheChrisWhoStoleChristmas #HomeMeloni #HolidayClassics #BenslerTogether.”

The photo marks the second time the pair have come together again for a reunion selfie following a similar get together in March.

Meloni and Hargitay starred as Detectives Elliot Stabler and Olivia Benson for 12 seasons of “SVU” before Meloni left the series over a contract dispute in 2011.

In March, Meloni denied rumors that he would be returning to the NBC police procedural stating “I have no idea where that came from or what that’s about.”

Hargitay continues to star on the show which is currently airing its 18th season.
