LOS ANGELES – October 17, 2015 — (UPI) — Lindsay Lohan, an actress whose career has been eclipsed in recent years because of her brushes with the law and battle with substance abuse, says she is considering running for U.S. president.

“The first thing I would like to do as president… is take care of all of the children suffering in the world,” she added in a subsequent message. “#queenELIZABETH showed me how by having me in her country.”
Rapper Kanye West announced during this summer’s MTV Video Music Awards ceremony that he plans to run for the country’s highest political office in five years.
Lohan is best known for her roles in Mean Girls, Freaky Friday and The Parent Trap.
